(Tumon, Guam) The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) membership has elected four members to serve on the GVB Board of Directors for a two-year term that starts immediately. The election meeting was held at Hotel Nikko Guam.

The Special Meeting of the Board of Directors that was to be held on February 13, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in GVB’s main conference room and by Teleconference - via GoToMeeting is POSTPONED until further notice at the request of Board Chairman Milton Morinaga.

(Tumon, Guam) Reiterating his commitment to fight for transparency and integrity in the government, Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) President & CEO has issued a letter to GVB members announcing the decision to postpone the membership election scheduled for Monday, February 13.
 

(Tumon, Guam) On Thursday, Guam Attorney General Douglas Moylan announced in a three-part opinion requested by Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) President and CEO Carl T.C. Gutierrez that the board’s selection of Mr. Akihiro Tani and Mr. George Chiu to the GVB Board of Directors was invalid.
 

(Tumon, Guam) The Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) is working hard on returning Japanese tourists to international travel with a large focus on Guam, Taiwan, and Korea.
