Jeju Air celebrates a decade of innovative and safe service to Guam
(Tumon, Guam) The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) and Guam International Airport Authority (GIAA) joined Jeju Air in celebrating the airline’s 10-year anniversary of servicing Incheon to Guam. GVB, GIAA, and Jeju Air officials welcomed nearly 200 airline passengers aboard the 10th anniversary flight yesterday with gift bags, CHamoru music, and the bureau’s Ko’ko’ bird mascot, “Kiko.”
GVB reconnects with Pacific Islanders in North America
(San Diego, California) In an effort to reconnect with the stateside community of CHamorus and those with ties to Guam in North America, the Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) has announced that it has successfully completed its mission at the 28th Pacific Islander Festival Association (PIFA) at Ski Beach in San Diego, California.
(Tokyo, Japan) The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) and members of the island’s tourism industry have returned to Tourism EXPO Japan to showcase Guam’s current offerings to thousands of attendees. Organizers estimated over 150,000 participants, about the current population of Guam, were counted at the four-day event.
The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) will hold a General Membership Forum on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at the GVB office, 401 Pale San Vitores Road, in Tumon at 11:00 a.m. GVB’s membership and the general public are invited to attend.
GVB & GIAA officials in Japan to encourage new air routes to Guam
(Tokyo, Japan) Officials with the Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) and the A.B. Won Pat International Airport Authority, Guam (GIAA) are taking further action to step up recovery efforts in Guam’s tourism industry by meeting with different air carriers in Japan.
Visitor arrivals exceed projections before end of FY2022
(Tumon, Guam) The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) has released the preliminary visitor arrival report for July 2022, which shows that arrivals for the month ended with 41,091 visitors (+219.5%) welcomed to the island.
