(Tumon, Guam) – The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) is thrilled to announce the launch of its inaugural month-long initiative, "Welcome to Wellness - Guam," positioning the island as a premier wellness destination in the Western Pacific. Rooted deeply in the Chamorro value of inafa’maolek (restoring harmony), this festival invites visitors and residents alike to reconnect with themselves and the community through a curated exploration of Guam’s finest offerings in wellness, movement, culture, nature, and culinary experiences.
The Welcome to Wellness - Guam initiative will run throughout the month of April 1–30, 2026. Buoyed by two international sporting events - the Guam Ko’ko’ Road Race (Kids Race, Ekiden Relay and Half Marathon - April 11 & 12) and Tour of Guam (Cycling event - April 26) - GVB seeks to promote the many experiences available in Guam highlighting physical, mental, and spiritual wellness.
"Guam is an ideal destination for wellness travel, and there is no better time to experience this than during the inaugural Guam Wellness Month in April," said GVB President & CEO Régine Biscoe Lee. "This month-long initiative is a community-driven celebration designed for everyone—from our children and adult residents to our international guests. We welcome you to reset, recharge, and rediscover opportunities for health and wellness amidst the beauty and tranquility of our island."
