Jeff Jones is the President and Chief Operating Officer of the Triple J Group of companies, a family owned and operated business with operations and offices in Guam, The CNMI, Palau, The Marshall Islands and California. Triple J is a diversified company with businesses in several tourism related industries including Hertz and Dollar Car Rental, Stroll Ride Share, Outback Steakhouse, Triple J Five Star Wholesale Foods and the Surf Rider Hotel. In addition, Triple J J owns and operates automotive, truck and bus dealerships, tire stores and is involved in logistics, construction, and real estate development. In 2024 Triple J was recognized as the 5th largest company in Micronesia by Guam Business Magazine. Jeff was recognized as the 2015 Guam Business Magazine Executive of the Year; he is a past chairman of the Guam Chamber of Commerce and current member of the Guam Visitors Bureau Board of Directors. He has a business degree from the University of North Carolina and resides in Guam with his wife Jane and has 5 adult children.

Joaquin “Kin” Cook is a third-generation banker who continues his family’s legacy as the President and CEO of Bank of Guam, succeeding his mother, uncle, and grandfather.
Since taking the helm, Kin has led the Bank through a transformative era, focusing on its digital strategy, customer experience, corporate philanthropy, and, above all, taking care of its People. Internally, this transformation has brought greater diversity with the creation of new roles and a seamless transition from legacy leadership to the next generation—blending the wisdom of the past with the bold, fresh perspectives of a diverse group of thinkers, dreamers, and doers. Externally, Kin continues to prioritize the needs of both customers and communities. This commitment has driven greater investments in smarter financial solutions that not only meet demand but also deliver the exceptional financial service experiences customers deserve.
Kin’s connection to the Bank began at an early age—when, at just 8 years old, he would accompany his grandfather to work. His official career with the Bank started in 2001, when he joined the Management Training Program and was assigned to the Credit Department as a Loan Officer. After a brief hiatus in 2006 to further his education, he returned to the Bank and served in various roles, including Assistant Vice President/ Upper Tumon Branch Manager, Vice President/Compliance Manager, and Executive Vice President/Chief Sales and Service Officer. In 2018, he was appointed Interim President and Chief Executive Officer, and in 2019, he was officially named President and Chief Executive Officer, a position he has held since.
Kin is an alumnus of St. John’s School and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego, and his Master of Business Administration from the University of San Diego. He is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School.
Kin has served on the Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) Board since being appointed in 2023. He has held the role of Vice Chairman of the Board and serves as Chair of the Committee on Sports and Events. More recently, he was tasked with leading the Tourism Recovery Committee, responsible for developing Guam’s short-term tactical tourism recovery plan. As chair of this committee, he has worked closely with GVB staff, management, local tourism industry leaders, government agencies, and business leaders to create a plan aimed at revitalizing Guam’s primary economic driver. He is eager to continue this work and looks forward to seeing the results of this collaborative effort.
Kin cherishes spending time with his wife and four daughters. When not with his family, he enjoys golfing, playing tennis or pickleball, and traveling. He also dedicates time to supporting various corporate, civic, and nonprofit organizations. Kin serves on the boards of IP&E, ASC Trust, LLC, and the Pacific Coast Banking School. Most recently, he was appointed to the American Bankers Association’s Community Bankers Council, where he advocates for the unique needs and perspectives of community banks in Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas, and throughout Micronesia.
GEORGE CHIU

Born in Okinawa, Japan, George Chiu grew up in Guam and has been a resident of Guam for the past 49 years. He graduated from JFK High School Guam and graduated Cum Laude from the Univer-sity of Guam with a double major in Accounting and Management.
Mr. Chiu has been continuously employed by Tan Holdings Corporation since August, 1992 and presently is the Executive Vice President of Tan Holdings Corporation, a diverse holding compa-ny which does business in more than a dozen industries in the Western Pacific. In addition to his responsibilities withTan Holdings Corporation, Mr. Chiu also holds various positions with affili-ated companies of Tan Holdings and reports to the President of Tan Holdings.

Mr. Chiu’s primary role as Executive Vice-President of Tan Holdings is to oversee all the Tan Holdings companies in Guam and Micronesia. Very active in community service on Guam, Mr. Chiu is a member of the Tumon Bay Rotary Club, Director for Guam Junior Golf League, Treasurer/Director for the University of Guam Endowment Foundation, President of the Chi-nese Chamber of Commerce of Guam and President of the Guam Chinese Association. He and his wife Jennie Lin have been married for 34 years and they have one daughter, Allyson who was born and raised in Guam.
KEN YANAGISAWA

PHR Ken Micronesia, Inc.
Ken Yanagisawa is the Executive Managing Director of Ken Hotels & Resorts Holdings Ltd., President & CEO of PHR Ken Micronesia, Inc., General Manager of The Tsubaki Tower, and President of PHR Management Inc. Originally from Nagano, Japan, Yanagisawa has lived in Guam for nearly 20 years and brings over 23 years of extensive experience within the group.
Yanagisawa began his career in Tokyo in 2001 as an Asset and Property Manager at RA Asset Management Inc., part of the Ken Corp Group, where he managed real estate related assets worth of $1 billion. His expertise expanded as he held various managerial roles with companies in Guam, Saipan, and California in the hospitality industry. Yanagisawa’s work with Ken Hotels & Resorts Holdings Ltd. in Tokyo highlights his strategic role in hotel business development.
In April 2020, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Yanagisawa successfully launched The Tsubaki Tower as its General Manager. This 27-story luxury hotel boasts 340 rooms, multiple lounges and restaurants, and a rooftop chapel for
weddings.
He actively contributes to the industry as a Board Director of the Guam Hotel & Restaurant Association. His leadership extends to community involvement, where the companies he manages support organizations such as the Guam Visitors Bureau, Guam Chamber of Commerce, Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Guam Contractors Association, Japan Club of Guam, and the Korean Association of Guam.
Yanagisawa holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate and an Associate Degree in Science Business Management from the New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies, where he graduated in 2001 and 2000, respectively.
