Shop Guam Takes Over Agana Shopping Center on Saturday

Holiday In-Store Event Features Fashion, Food & Fun

(Tumon, Guam) As part of the third annual Shop Guam Festival, the Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) has teamed up with the Agana Shopping Center to host a festive holiday in-store event this coming Saturday, December 6 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. One of the featured highlights of the event is a fashion show that will showcase selections from Etcetera Boutique and Chamorrita Swimwear. The fashion show is being produced by A.A.M.P.S.

“We’re excited to partner with the Agana Shopping Center to promote the great deals that are featured in our Shop Guam Festival,” said Acting General Manager Nathan Denight. “We encourage everyone to buy local and support our local businesses. Don’t forget to check out the fashion show on Saturday and download the free Shop Guam app to take advantage of all the shopping incentives and events that any visitor or local resident can enjoy.”

The Shop Guam fashion show will also include an array of family fun activities that include live art demonstrations, entertainment, cultural displays (coconut weaving, coconut candy making, face painting, floral headband making) and photos with Santa.

Over 200 offers from nearly 120 vendors are available through the Shop Guam Festival. GVB has brought back the event’s print and mobile shopping guides in six different languages that include English, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.The free mobile app is available for download at the Apple iOS store and Google Play store.

The Shop Guam campaign ends on January 12, 2015.
