Japan Airlines to extend second daily flights to Guam through March 2019
June 28, 2018
(Tumon, Guam) Due to high demand, the JAL Group (JAL) announced that it has revised its flight frequency plans and will be extending the time period for its second daily flights to Guam.
The air carrier announced back in December 2017 that it was to begin double daily service from Narita to Guam from March 25, 2018 to October 27, 2018. Based on demand for Guam, JAL will continue to operate the two daily flights through March 30, 2019.
“This is great news for our island and we thank Japan Airlines for their commitment and partnership to offer more seats from Japan to Guam,” said GVB President and CEO Nathan Denight. “We’ve been working very closely with JAL to support the Japan market. This announcement is a result of our air service initiatives and the hard work of our team and industry partners. We look forward to welcoming more Japanese visitors into 2019.”
The Narita – Guam route features the JAL SKY SUITE 767-300ER aircraft with 24 fully-flat Business Class seats and 175 seats with the award winning JAL SKY WIDER product in Economy Class.
The JAL Group states it will continue to embrace new challenges to deliver greater customer convenience and comfort, enhance its networks, and improve the quality of products and services.
