GVB hosts Korean Air Travel Agents CEO FAM Tour

(Tumon, Guam) The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) recently hosted a Korean Air VIP Familiarization (FAM) Tour, which consisted of the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of Korean Air’s major travel agencies. The FAM tour was held from March 14-17, 2018. Participants visited some of Guam’s world-class facilities and attractions while experiencing the island’s Håfa Adai spirit and Chamorro culture.
“We are grateful to have been selected as the host destination for Korean Air’s CEO FAM Tour. This tour was a great opportunity to showcase Guam’s accommodations and experiences that highlight the island as a world-class destination of choice for affluent travelers. We thank Korean Air for their commitment to Guam and look forward to their continued partnership,” said GVB President and CEO Nathan Denight.
During the FAM tour, the participants held a golf tournament at LeoPalace Resort. They also attended a variety of tours and were generously hosted to a welcome reception at the Fish Eye Marine Park and farewell fiesta at the Lotte Hotel Guam.
“In 2017 Guam welcomed more than 680,000 visitors from Korea, setting a new record. We are grateful for Korean Air and its partners for their hard work and great contribution in helping achieve this number. We hope more Korean travelers choose Guam as their next destination and experience what our beautiful island has to offer,” said Bartley Jackson, Chairman of GVB’s Korea Marketing Committee (KMC).
A total of 31 participants were invited to the FAM tour, including Korean Air, Hana Tour, Mode Tour, CWT Korea, Tour 2000, Dongkuk Travel, Mac Travel, Very Good Tour, Web Tour, HYECHO Travel, Naeil Tour, Ticket Korea, Lotte Tour, YB Tour, SM Culture & Contents, Tour Baksa, Flylucky, Hyundai Dream Tour, Interpark Tour, TideSquare, Club Rothem, KRT, IDT, JaU Tour, Lotte JTB, and DFS Korea.
