JATA teams up with GVB to stimulate Gen Z overseas travel

(Tumon, Guam) The Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) is working with the Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) to stimulate the next generation of overseas travelers from Japan to Guam. Called “JATA Project: My First Overseas Experience at 20,” the initiative focuses specifically on Gen Z travelers.

(Osaka, Japan) Guam showed a strong presence at what is called the world’s biggest tourism event -Tourism EXPO Japan 2019. This was the first year that the expo was held in Osaka after being based at the Tokyo Big Sight for many years due to preparations for the 2020 Olympics.
