GVB Makes Donation To Japan Club Of Guam At Membership Meeting

(Thursday, October 6, 2011; Tumon, Guam) At the annual GVB Membership Meeting on September 30, 2011 at Guam Marriott Resort & Spa, $1,435 was donated to the Japan Club of Guam for the Tsunami Relief Fund. Japan Club President Toyohito Yoneyama accepted the check with donations being generated through a raffle.
GVB Concludes Promotion At Japan’s Largest Travel Show

(Tuesday, October 4, 2011; Tokyo, Japan) The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) completed its promotion at the 2011 Japan Association of Travel Agents Tourism Forum and Travel Showcase. The two-day forum on the recovery of tourism after the events of “3/11” segued into the travel showcase that continued through Sunday, October 2, 2011. JATA officials estimated over 111,000 people were in attendance.
